Your information
Privacy Notice
How Omega Trading uses and protects information submitted through this website.
Effective 13 September 2026Our approach: we collect only the information needed to take payment, issue your licence, deliver your product, provide support and protect the service. We never ask for an MT5 trading password.
1. Who controls your information
Omega Trading is responsible for personal information collected through this website. Privacy questions and requests can be sent securely through the Omega Support Centre.
2. Information we collect
- Your name, email address, country and broker.
- Numeric live and demo MT5 account IDs supplied for licensing.
- Order reference, product, payment and delivery status. Full card details are handled by Stripe and are not stored by Omega Trading.
- Support messages, account-change requests, screenshots and diagnostic information you choose to provide.
- Your email address, consent record and subscription status if you choose to join the Monday Gold Brief.
- Closed-trade details, performance figures, strategy tags, mindset labels and notes you choose to save in Omega Journal.
- If you connect MT5 to Omega Journal: your numeric account ID, broker and account-currency label, plus a hashed and revocable connection token. We do not receive your broker password.
- Basic security and service logs needed to operate and protect the website.
3. Why we use it
We use this information to perform our contract with you, including taking orders, activating licences, delivering files and providing support. We also use necessary records for fraud prevention, service security, accounting and legal obligations, and to pursue our legitimate interest in improving and protecting Omega Trading. We do not sell customer information.
Weekly emails are sent only after you expressly request them and confirm your email address. You can withdraw that consent at any time through the unsubscribe link included in every edition.
Journal information is used to calculate your private performance dashboard and produce evidence-based pattern reviews. It is not used to place trades or provide personalised trading signals. The optional MT5 connector reads and submits closed-position history only; it does not place, modify or close trades.
4. Services that help us operate
Information may be processed by trusted providers where required: Stripe for payment, Brevo for transactional and subscribed weekly email, our website hosting and authentication providers, and technical service providers supporting delivery and security. Visiting external links such as Telegram, MQL5 or TradingView is subject to those services’ own privacy practices.
5. Cookies, analytics and third-party content
The site uses essential local storage for security and to remember your privacy choice. If you allow optional services, Google Analytics measures information such as page views, scrolls and outbound-link clicks so we can understand and improve website traffic. Omega also records limited first-party events such as page visits, product interest and checkout starts using a random browser-session identifier; these events do not contain names, emails, MT5 details or payment information. The optional TradingView chart is also loaded only after permission; these providers may then place or access cookies. You can reset your choice below. Choosing essential storage only does not stop you purchasing or using customer services.
6. Retention and security
Order and transaction records are kept only as long as needed for licensing, support, fraud prevention and applicable tax, accounting or legal requirements. Other information is deleted or anonymised when no longer needed. We use access controls and restricted administrative tools, but no internet service can promise absolute security.
Journal records remain associated with your signed-in account until they are removed by you or deleted following a valid data request, subject to any records we must keep for legal reasons.
7. International processing
Some service providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where required, we rely on appropriate contractual or legal safeguards for those transfers.
8. Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of your personal information. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. Some information must be retained where required by law or needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
Unsubscribed addresses remain on a limited suppression record so we can respect the request and avoid contacting them again unless they choose to resubscribe.
9. Changes
We may update this notice when our products, providers or legal responsibilities change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
